Our Sidney BC self contained accommodation is 10 minutes from Schwartz Bay for daily ferry service to Vancouver BC Canada, the international airport is Sidney’s back yard, and the Anacorte Ferry is 2 blocks from the Rental Cottage Accommodation. Along with harness racing, there are plans for a Casino being developed at the race track with slot machines - which is only another 10 minutes away. Take a small shuttle-boat ride to Sidney Island for the day and walk along miles of white sand - don’t forget that picnic lunch or dinner. Or camp overnight … or head to Victoria BC and go to the world famous Butchart Gardens and Butterfly World near the seaside Town of Brentwood Bay. Daily or weekly boat charters are plentiful and whale watching is easily arranged in Sidney by the Sea. Or take a lunch/water tour surrounding the Peninsula. Visit our local Victoria BC wineries and enjoy sampling our local wines. Golf courses abound. And on the highway to Victoria BC Canada, 30 minutes away, go to the driving range, or have a swim at Elk Lake or have fun at the miniature golf land, visit the nurseries with local and intl. flowers/plants/seeds.
